Welcome to the online platform of the Greek Bike Specialist. On this, you will attend a course on cycling tourism in Greece, and you will familiarize yourself with the certified “Bike Friendly Hotels” and the certified “Bike Friendly Partners” in Greece. You will get informed about the benefits of cycling in Greece, the cycling routes throughout the country, the criteria that are met by the certified “Bike Friendly Hotels”, the services provided to cyclists and cycling enthusiasts, as well as the certified “Bike Friendly Partners” and the cycling services that they provide (bicycles, organized cycling tours, etc.).

You can sign up on the Greek Bike Specialist online platform either as an independent travel agent or as a representative of a travel agency or of a tour operator. After the initial enrollment, the course modules are unlocked and you can start attending the class. Once you have finished the reading and you have browsed the complimentary links, you may proceed with the evaluation questions (quiz). To successfully pass the examination, you should answer correctly at least seven (7) out of the ten (10) questions. You are eligible for three (3) efforts in total to achieve the described score of at least seven (7) correct answers to the questionnaire.  After the successful completion of the evaluation questionnaire, you will receive, after a few days, in the e-mail that you provided during the registration process, the Greek Bike Specialist certificate.

By participating in the online platform and by being awarded the Greek Bike Specialist certificate, you are given the opportunity to organize excursions for the cycling enthusiasts and the environmentally aware travelers. At the same time, you can get in touch with the certified hotels and partners, and provide, in this way, a total set of organized and certified hospitality and cycling services in every corner of Greece.
